Pharmaceutics-I Lab

The lab is used for the study of formulations of various dosage forms like solid, liquid, semi solid and other dosage forms. There are many instruments like stalago monometer, viscometer, pH meter etc.

Pharmaceutics-II Lab

Pharmaceutics lab consists of Digital Balance, Sieve shaker, Brookfield Viscometer, B.O.D. incubator, filtration units, projection microscope etc.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry-I

Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab I is well equipped with microwave oven, incubator, mechanical stirrer, distillation unit, hot air oven, magnetic stirrer, muffle furnace etc. These are very useful for various synthetic reactions and element detection and limit tests of heavy metal, arsenic.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry-II

Pharmaceutical Chemistry lab II is well equipped with heating mantle, analytical balance, glassware (RBF, three neck flask, conical flask etc).

Machine Room

Houses most modern equipment and machinery used for pilot project, formulation, and development studies in Injectables, Tablet, Capsule, Liquid orals, and Ointment sections. The major equipment include Rotary and Multi punch, tablet compression machine, mass mixer, tray dryer, double cone mixer, multi mill, coating, and polishing pans. Hardness tester, dissolution apparatus and sifters and ball mill. The layout and construction of area is as per Food and Drug Administration and GMP requirement.

CIR (Central Instrumentation Room) Lab

CIR Lab mainly contains very sophisticated instruments that include Double Beam UV Spectrophotometer, HPLC, Colorimetry, pH Meter, Conductivity meter, Potentiometer etc. The instruments are mainly useful for assaying drug contents, impurities, and stability studies.

Pharma Biotechnology Lab

Various practicals on analysis of biochemical constituents of body, pharmaceutical formulations & drug products are performed.

Pharma Analysis Lab

Various practicals on analysis of biochemical constituents of body, pharmaceutical formulations & drug products are performed.

H.A.P. Lab

The H.A.P. lab is equipped with various models, charts, sphygmomanometer, Hemocytometer, stethoscope etc. The instruments are used to check B.P., Heartbeat, RBC Count, Hemoglobin Content etc.

Pharmacology Lab

The Pharmacology lab consists of equipment to identify the activity of various drug samples. These include Digital Actophotometer, Eddy’s Hot plate, Histamine Chamber, Plethysmograph, Cook’s Pole Climbing Apparatus, Convulsiometer, Pyrogen Tele thermometer and Single and Double organ Bath with Kymograph to study the effect of drugs on animals. Moreover, the college has started experiment conduction on simulated software.

Pharmacognosy Lab

Provides adequate facilities for training in pharmaceutical biology, identification and standardization of crude drugs and phytochemical screening. It is equipped with instruments like Soxhlet Apparatus and Clavengers Apparatus for extraction and isolation of crude drugs, Microtome for cutting fine sections of the drugs, Bio-Visual aids like Permanent Slides, Compound and Dissecting Microscope, Medicinal plant charts, Visualizing wooden cabinets of crude drugs etc.
